Who is Mike Panno?

Mike Panno is the founder and CEO of GuardEra. He is also a partner and co-founder of Smart Identity and Access Control as well as THISA. Along with his team, Mike has worked with hundreds of companies as their advisor in Enterprise IT environments focused on compliance and security.

Outside of the office, Mike enjoys travelling, frequents the cinema often, and fine dining. Mike just celebrated his second anniversary and the birth of his first grandchild, Madison.

 

Who is Nicholas Panno?

Nick Panno built a multi-user bulletin board game business while still in grammar school. By the age of 15, while still in high school and before he had his license he was pulling all-nighters writing code for the international web site, China Online.

Nick leads his fellow engineers with his knowledge, experience, and promise with proven success. On a day to day basis, Nick manages numerous customers’ Enterprise IT environments and focuses on security and compliance. He also continues to manage projects that involve both the design and execution of new IT infrastructure and systems built from ground-up, as well as incremental updates to in place technologies.

Nick architects, deploys, and provides support for a wide range of best-of-breed technology solutions for mid-sized to organizations including; complex multi-site networking topologies, virtual infrastructures, identity management, and security infrastructures. Nicholas attended the University of Illinois at Chicago and he holds certifications in key technology solutions including; Microsoft, VMWare, Cisco, Citrix, Brocade, Fortinet. Nick is also a SQL DBA with extensive experience in regulated industries.

Nick just celebrated his second anniversary and birth of his first child, Madison Rose.

 

Who is Maria Panno?

Maria has managed the administrative and financial side of the business for GuardEra since 2006. Her enthusiasm and drive and focus are contagious and evident in all of her interactions.

A graduate of UW Milwaukee, Maria’s experience in back office operations includes: not-for-profit, retail, and technology sectors. An entrepreneur in her own right Maria operates a small eBay business. In her spare time Maria enjoys travel, is an active sports participant and is working to complete work on an advanced degree.
